Volcano Erupts Near Tokyo

Early Monday Mount Asama, a volcano near Tokyo, erupted. No one has been reported injured or dead since the volcano eruption only stayed very close to the volcano. People were still affected by the eruption since the ash spread all over Tokyo and other surrounding cities. Breathing in volcano ash can actually be very harmful. Also, there were warnings saying that volcanic rocks may be falling out of the sky around the volcano. So, people could get hit in the head with a rock, which is pretty dangerous. The volcano also erupted last year, so it's active and could erupt again.

Lullaby #15

Helen Hoover Boyle and Carl Streater are still driving along with Mona and Oyster. It turns out that Oyster has a little scam going on. He publishes ads in a bunch of papers saying that if people have gotten a rash or sick from eating or going to popular places then they should call his cell phone. It's not explained why he does this, but I think he's pretending to be a lawyer or something and just getting money from these people who probably are lying just like him.

How to Survive a Plane Crash

Despite what most people believe, it's really likely that you'll survive a plane crash. People think that everyone dies in a plane crash because in the most tragic/infamous crashes, everyone did die. In the recent Hudson plane crash, everyone came out alive. Also, most people panic and freak out when they don't know what to do. So, these are the steps that people should follow to live:
1. Try and sit within 5 rows of an exit.
2. Follow the safety instructions and plan out what you're going to do in case of an emergency.
3. Focus on what the plane is doing the first 3 minutes of flight and last 8 minutes of landing.
4. Relax because it's a one in a million chance that you're going to be in a crash.

Man Demands His Divorced Wife to Pay for Kidney #13

A man in New York wants his ex-wife to pay for a kidney he donated to her. Dr. Richard Batista said he'd settle for $1.5 million as compensation. After their divorce, he hasn't been able to see his children. He says that he has no regret in donating his kidney to her, he just regrets that their marriage failed 4 years after the donation. She filed for divorce, saying she had an eighteen month affair with someone else. That's so terrible, it seems that she just took advantage of him knowing that he'd give her his kidney since he loved her and they were married. Then once the surgery was over, she decided to just come clean and file for divorce.

4 Year Old Boy Shoots Babysitter #12

A four year old boy in Ohio shot his babysitter with a shotgun! Police said that the babysitter accidentally stepped on the boy's foot. So he went into the closet, grabbed the shotgun and shot him out of anger. Other teenagers were babysitting children at a mobile home when the four year old shot Nathan Beavers. Beavers has been hospitalized with pellet wounds in his arm and side. One other babysitter was injured with shotgun pellet wounds. I don't even understand how the boy was able to use a shotgun, they're huge...he's four years old. It doesn't make sense. The boy hasn't even been charged, what if he had killed the sitter? I don't think it matters if he's four, that kid has serious issues and should have anger management.

Boy, 6, misses bus so he tries driving to school #11

In Virginia, a six year old boy missed his school bus one morning. Instead of going home and calling his mom, the logical choice. He decided to take his family's sedan for a little joyride to school while his mom was inside the house sleeping. He didn't get very far though. He apparantly ran off the road several times until he eventually ran into an embankment and an utility pole. He wasn't even wearing a seatbelt. Luckilly, he suffered only from minor injuries but he could've totally died. The police are still investigating it though. I think the mom will probably get charged with something since she allowed her son to just go outside and wait for the bus alone when he's only six years old.

Man's Last Lottery Ticket Wins $10 Million for Widow #10

On November 1st, Donald Peters last day, he purchased two lottery tickets at a 7-Eleven as a 20 year tradition he had with his wife, Charlotte. Later that day, he suffered from a heart attack and died. Then, she didn't even think of the lottery tickets. Charlotte and her three kids were way too busy grieving over Donald's death. But in December, she was in the grocery store when she heard that she won. She had no idea how much she won, she was extremely surprised. She has no idea what she's going to do with the money yet, but it won't solve her grieving of her deceased husband.
